A water spider spends most of its life in water.Its web looks like a bell.The web does not have water in it.The water spider brings air bubbles into its web.Water spiders can stay under water for several months.It is the only spider that can stay under water.The water spider swims upside down.It eats water incets and small fish in its bell shaped web.Female water spiders are smaller then male water spiders.Both female and male water spiders can fit on a postage stamp.This spider is not poisonous .The predators are toads,snakes,frogs and fish.This spider is not endangered.
